By the end of this year, visitors to Vail will be able to get free Wi-Fi access anywhere in town. Access with speeds up to 300Kbps will be free of charge, and faster service will be available for purchase.
It will be interesting to watch this trend of municipal Wi-Fi networks develop. And, after years of having no other choice than to pay hotels’ extortionate fees for often-spotty internet access, free access will be a welcome relief to travelers.
