What Are Your Travel Plans for 2009?

Between the increased cost of air travel and the recession of the U.S. economy, 2008 was a year many travelers cut back on flying. This New Year’s, I believe lots of people (including myself) were thinking more about bidding 2008 good riddance rather than looking forward to a prosperous 2009, because the outlook for the future, economically at least, is still uncertain. Nevertheless, the SmarterTravel.com editors want to know what your plans are for travel in 2009. Are you planning to hold off on taking that vacation until further notice or are the discounts being offered by some desperate travel providers tempting you to hit the road?
