Zion’s Best B&B

It was our 26th Anniversary and we wanted to see something different from our usual trips. A two week trip to the National Parks in Utah was on our list! To get away from motel-ing we checked out Zion Canyon Bed & Breakfast in Springdale, Utah. After reading the reviews of past travelers we decided that Zion Canyon B&B was it.

The B&B was everything we expected and more! The large family home is inviting to weary travelers with their comfort in mind. Our room upstairs called Hidden Canyon was beautiful, clean and as we entered it our eyes went directly to the balcony with the view of the mountains. What a restful place to be! It was quiet and the hostess made us feel so welcome. The breakfasts were truly gourmet and presented beautifully and filled us to last until early dinner!

We ate lunch at Oscar’s in the little town of Springdale. We sat outside in the patio area with the majestic mountains in view. Our meal included delicious sweet potato fries, which we had never had. The weather was absolutely perfect during our time in Springdale. There were several little gift shops to enjoy on the main street, mostly all within walking distance of each other.

After a short walk from the B&B to the main street we took the town shuttle bus to the entrance of Zion National Park which was about 1/2 mile. We paid the entrance fee and boarded the Park Shuttle which drove us into the park. The Park was so beautiful and meeting new people from all over the world was such a joy. The trip in itself was one of our most memorable times in our 26 years but it’s always the people you meet who become your friends that make every journey worth THE journey.
