Things are looking good for culture vultures heading to Baltimore this fall, especially when it comes to saving money. Thanks to the city’s mayor, Martin O’Malley, and the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts, many events—175 of them—at museum, dance, and music venues will be free or have reduced admission throughout October and November.
Venues include the American Visionary Art Museum, National Aquarium, Maryland Zoo, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Sports Legends at Camden Yards, and Dance Baltimore.
To sweeten the pot, The Walters Art Museum and the Baltimore Museum of Art vow to completely eliminate admission fees for good starting October 1.
Events will be posted on the Free Fall Baltimore website after today (September 8).
