You may recall a few months back that [[Delta Air Lines | Delta]] announced it would install in-flight Wi-Fi on all of its aircraft by the end of 2009. Well, Wi-Fi has arrived, at least on six Delta planes, with a total of 10 expected to have the service by year’s end. Wi-Fi on flights of this length will cost $9.95, while longer flights will cost $12.95.
Delta plans to outfit the remainder of its fleet next year, and also start the process of upgrading [[Northwest]]’s planes. While Delta’s own aircraft should be done next year, the carrier doesn’t expect installations on Northwest planes to begin until late in 2009.
